現在、コロナ渦のため、NPOもこれまでのようにボランティア活動ができず、支援を必要としている人へのサポートが難しい状況にあります。そこで、もうすぐクリスマスの季節なので、日本社会に貢献しているＮＰＯに寄付で貢献してみませんか？ これまで、ボランティア活動や寄付の経験がない方もこれを機にぜひ、ご協力いただければと思います。 一般的に他者へ貢献すると自分の幸福度も上がる傾向があるといわれています。 現在、私たちが住んでいる日本も含めて、世界中でボランティアや支援を必要としている人たちがいます。このような難しい局面である時こそ、私達のConscious Culture (自己理解、他者への理解、自分が他者(チーム、お客様、より大きなコミュニティー）にもたらす影響に常に目を向け理解し、意図的に行動することにより最高の体験を生み出す）を体現し、サポートを必要としている人たちを支援していきましょう。 Currently, due to the corona vortex, NPOs are not able to volunteer as much as they have in the past, making it difficult to support those in need. So, since it's almost Holiday season, why not contribute to NPOs that are contributing to Japanese society with donations? Even if you have never volunteered or donated to a cause before, we hope you will take this opportunity to help them. In general, it is said that when you contribute to others, your own happiness tends to increase. There are people all over the world, including in Japan where we live, who are in need of volunteers and support. In these difficult times, we need support in embodying our Conscious Culture (self-awareness, understanding of others, and creating the best possible experience through constant focus and intentional action on the impact we have on others (teams, customers and the larger community). This year has been tough on most of us. Auckland City Mission has seen a vast increase in the number of people reaching out for help. Join me in helping them take care of those in need over the upcoming holiday period.

Together with our amazing group of volunteers across DBRS Toronto, Morningstar Toronto, and Sustainalytics, we have narrowed our areas of focus to the following four: The Elderly, The Unemployed, Hunger & Homelessness, and Diversity & Inclusion​ We've reached out to several organizations and selected 3 charities where we will volunteer both virtually and non-virtually: CEE Center for Young Black Professionals, Dixon Hall, and Fred Victor Organization.

Support the Chicago community through the COVID-19 pandemic and Morningstar’s mission to make an impactful difference for people and organizations struggling during this difficult time. The Chicago COVID-19 Community Outreach and Response team has partnered with four local charities, HelloBaby, The Chicago Literacy Alliance, My Block My Hood My City, and Ignite to offer these organizations support that will make a meaningful impact to the communities hardest hit by the pandemic.

Community outreach provided once a month for those that have been affected by Covid-19 poverty and hunger. All items are free!

Support the elderly and homeless workers impacted by COVID in Hong Kong! Even though the words “hunger” and “starvation” may seem to be an alien concept in Hong Kong, the government’s Poverty Situation Report last year revealed that one in five residents live in poverty. Often, this group of people do not have access to three basic meals a day, fresh fruit, and vegetables. With the COVID-19’s continuous impact worldwide, the affect to hungers and homeless people would go even deeper this year. The crisis highlights the need for urgent action to cushion the pandemic’s health and economic consequences, protect vulnerable populations, and set the stage for a lasting recovery.

The VMW team is creating cards in partnership with Cardz for Kidz. Cardz for Kidz! is dedicated to uplifting spirits across the globe by delivering inspiring handmade cards. They started donating homemade cards to kids in one hospital in one city; they have now expanded their impact to sending handmade cards to disheartened children and solemn seniors around the world. They currently have partnerships in all 50 states (plus Washington, DC), and at least one hospital or home on every continent.

A fund started by Morningstar colleagues who regularly work remotely from their homes (even in non-COVID times). From our various locations, we are joining forces to provide food to those in need -- locally, nationally, globally. We hope you'll join us from your corner of the world!

Access UK was established in 2013, following the London riots of 2011, our remit was and still is to address systemic inequalities within the British labour market and provide culturally competent IAG ( Information, Advice & Guidance) solutions for marginalised and disadvantaged BAME ( Black & Ethnic Minority Ethnic) beneficiaries. Access UK's careers and employability programmes are designed to address structural inequalities by offering practical and community-based services, that are tailored to our beneficiaries. The emergence of Covid-19 and it's disproportionate impact on BAME communities, coupled with the police killing of George Floyd in America, has placed a spotlight back onto the issue of inequality and global systemic disparities. Access UK is one of a select group of charities/social enterprises that directly addresses these institutional challenges at their root. We are pioneers of the public health approach which aims to deliver holistic community-based services, by tackling problems at the earliest possible opportunity and working with over 20 partners and a wide range of practitioners with complementary specialisms that supports our work.

The Indian Women and Child Welfare Trust has approved the 3 time meals projects to benefit Poor and underprivileged people across the country. Under this project 3 time meals will be given for next 3 months against the current situation, this meal will be given absolutely free of cost, along with ensuring the amount of protein.

For 2020 Pride Month, we've created this fund to support a variety of organizations supporting civil liberty, the Black Community & LGBTQ+ issues. Thank you for your consideration!

CHALLANGE: The COVID-19 or Coronavirus crisis has made a tremendous cross-sectoral impact across most of the countries around the world. The entire social, economic, and cultural structure is gradually transforming into an unexpected reality. Poor communities in Sierra Leone have become more vulnerable to the basic issues of livelihood, hunger, housing, and shelter. There are currently over 500 confirmed cases with 33 deaths in the country and the numbers keep rising in an alarming fashion. SOLUTION: Even though we will not be involved in clinically addressing the Coronavirus problem, Advocacy Initiative for Development (AID) Sierra Leone will embark on the following across the country to help stop the spread of COVID-19: 1. Increase community awareness on the prevention and spread of the COVID-19 diseases; 2. Reduce panicking and disinformation caused by the spread of COVID-19 disease and 3. Ensuring the supply of basic resources such as masks, food and shelter to the poorest and the needy LONG-TERM IMPACT: The results and the indicators we expect from the above intervention: - A large number of people will adopt sound sanitation, social distancing, and other safety precautions against the COVID-19 pandemic. - There will be a limited spread of disinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic. - A large number of homeless and poor people will have access to food and shelter.

Creatives Against Covid-19 is a global campaign that called on the creative industry to design and donate inspiring posters of optimism, resilience, and hope. As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to spread across the globe the needs of our communities have become clear. In honor of GiveTuesdayNow on May 5th, 2020 Bright Funds has put together the Coronavirus GivingTuesdayNow Fund. This Fund represents nonprofits addressing key issue areas identified by the Center for Disaster Philanthropy: Medical Needs, Mental Health, Children and Youth, Income and Basic Needs and Social Justice. Through a single donation to the Fund, you can support multiple organizations' initiatives to provide short-term and long-term response and recovery. It leads to higher risk of abuse and could lead to higher fatalities. Join us in supporting Control Alt Delete. It is a federally designated 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps people escaping domestic violence by removing the barriers that often keep them in unsafe situations. 98% of all domestic abuse victims are also financially abused – they may want to escape but have no financial means to do so. It’s happening in every single community in the country. Thousands of people have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, and for those people already living paycheck to paycheck, they now have to make the choice between food, bills or medicine. The people affected might be your co-workers, family, friends, and neighbors. But people in our communities like the elderly, the disabled and children are also affected as are the people that serve our communities. Covid19 doesn’t discriminate when it comes to who gets infected, but it also doesn’t discriminate as far as who gets affected economically even if they don’t contract the virus. We’re thankful our paychecks haven’t stopped. We’re thankful we still have a job. And we want to make sure our communities don’t go hungry. The Feeding America network is the largest hunger-relief organization in the United States including in times of disasters and national emergencies.
